Toby has been an active character actor in the local area (4017, Brisbane, Aus) for many years – appearing in many recent productions to ‘universal acclaim’ (his words!) including:
- Mousetrap Theatre – Redcliffe
- 2018: R.P McMurphy in ‘One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest’ (Dale Wasserman)
- 2017: Paul in ‘Siren’ (David Williamson)
- Elysium Theatre – Sandgate
- 2015 – 2016: Graham Whittaker in ‘A Chip in the Sugar’ (Alan Bennett – from the ‘Talking Heads’ series of monologues)
- InsideOutside Theatre – Brisbane
- 2017: Devlin Side in ‘Murder on Record’
- 2017: Major Hugh Ponsonby in ‘Full Steam Ahead’
He has also previously performed for other theatre company’s including ‘Play With Your Food’ and Sandgate Theatre Inc.
His overriding passion though, is to bring to life the odd collection of ‘alter-egos’, occupying his imagination, that he has put down on paper (so old school!) and brought life at various venues over the years such as:
- SANDBAG’s‘ Unplugged Cafe’ – Sandgate
- 99.7 Bridge FM – Redcliffe: Sunday Night ‘Suzy and Johnny’ show
- Music by the Sea festivals (2009 – 2012) – Sandgate
